Baby Girl the Dog needs a home
Baby Girl came from an extremely neglectful situation. We kept getting reports of a couple of dogs that were kept in a room in a mobile home and never let outside. The sheriff reported that the stench was overwhelming, but the dogs were fed and loved, so would not remove them. Finally, the owner lost his job and had to move in with family. He cried when he brought the dog to us, and she clearly loved him. But as a five year old dog who never saw much of the sunlight, she is having to learn to in a world she has never really seen. It is obvious from her scars on her back that her life has not been easy. We are hoping that a special forever family will come to love her the way we do. She is playful and fun when she gets to know you. She is wary of other dogs (although we know she lived with them) so any introduction would have to be gradual. Take a chance on this sweet girl. You won't regret it!
Baby Girl is now available for adoption to a good and loving home. If you have a lot of love to share with a best friend please adopt one of our wonderful pets. All pets are up to date on shots, have been dewormed, and vaccinated for bordetella. We are very rescue-friendly and have transport assistance to the northeast!
